The LBI Unithon is an annual 19 or so mile unicycle ride from Holgate
at the southern tip of Long Beach Island to Barnegat Lighthouse at the
northern end of the island. Riders from past Unithons have come from as
far away as Germany and have been as young as 9 and as old as 50 something.
The Alliance for a Living Ocean provides 4 breaks along the route with
supplies of fresh water, fruit and snacks.
